The highly anticipated 15th edition of APOS is just around the corner, set to gather influential decision-makers from the media, entertainment, and digital sectors at The Ayana Estate in Bali. This prestigious conference has managed to secure an impressive lineup of speakers, including key executives from leading streaming platforms, content creators, and digital innovators who are shaping the future of entertainment not only in Asia Pacific but also globally.

One of the highlights of the event will be Netflix’s VP of content for Korea, Don Kang, who will be making his debut at APOS. His session is expected to provide valuable insights into Netflix’s K-content strategy, audience engagement metrics, and future plans for Korean programming, especially in light of the global success of “Squid Game.”

Disney will also have a significant presence at the conference, with Kylie Watson-Wheeler, senior VP and MD of The Walt Disney Company Australia/New Zealand and head of ESPN APAC, expected to discuss the company’s streaming success in the Asia Pacific region.

James Rushton, co-founder of DAZN, will be sharing insights into the company’s recent expansions, including the acquisition of Foxtel and a deal with Saudi Arabia. Warner Bros. Discovery APAC president James Gibbons will likely touch upon the successful launch of Max in Australia and operations in other key markets.

The conference will also shed light on tech giants’ increasing involvement in the entertainment industry. Google APAC president Sanjay Gupta will deliver a keynote on the future of AI in entertainment, while TikTok’s global head of distribution, Isaac Bess, will explore partnership opportunities with content creators and studios.

Other notable speakers include Gaurav Gandhi from Amazon, Soraj Asavaprapha from Jasmine International Public Company Limited, and Yang Xianghua from iQIYI, among others. The event will also feature prominent content creators such as Dinesh Vijan and Angga Dwimas Sasongko, who have been instrumental in driving local storytelling in their respective markets.

APOS 2025 promises to be a groundbreaking event, with new executives such as Chris Taylor from NBCUniversal and Katsuaki Setoguchi from TBS Holdings Inc./The Seven, Inc. expected to discuss their global content appeal and co-production partnerships.
