Katseye Performs Without Manon Bannerman at Coachella 2026

Katseye performed at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival without Manon Bannerman. The girl group, consisting of Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung, took to the stage on the festival’s opening day in Indio, California, on Friday, April 10. Manon, 23, was absent from Katseye’s Coachella debut due to her ongoing hiatus from the band.

Katseye kicked off their performance with their latest single “Pinky Up,” followed by “Debut” and “Touch.” During the show, they were joined by HUNTR/X vocalists EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami for a surprise rendition of “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack.

Manon’s absence at Coachella occurred nearly two months after Katseye announced her decision to take a break from the group.

In a February statement shared via Weverse, Katseye explained, “After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing. We fully support this decision.”

The band reassured fans that despite Manon’s absence, the remaining members would continue their scheduled activities. “Katseye remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right,” they stated. “Thank you to our Eyekons for your continued love, patience and understanding.”

Manon also addressed fans individually via Weverse, writing, “Hi friends, I want you to hear this from me, I’m healthy, I’m OK and I’m taking care of myself. Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture. Thank you for standing by me. I love you endlessly and can’t wait to see you again.”

Earlier this month, Manon provided another update during her hiatus from Katseye, expressing gratitude for the support she has received. “Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way. I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time,” she shared via Weverse. “[Katseye’s management] HxG and I are having positive conversations, and I feel supported. I’m happy, and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”

Speculation arose when Manon removed “Katseye” from her Instagram bio. Shortly after, a source informed Us Weekly on Monday, April 6, that she does not intend to rejoin the group.

In a Nylon cover story published on Tuesday, April 7, Manon discussed that the group sometimes faces disagreements. The outlet noted that her interview occurred before she announced her hiatus. “There’s six of us, so obviously not everyone’s always going to be on the same page about everything,” she explained. “But I think we all are at, or have been learning and are finally coming to, a point where for the group’s sake, you give and you take. You pick your battles.”

She emphasized the importance of bandmates supporting each other to cope with fame, saying, “But we also have supportive friends and supportive family. It’s something that keeps you humble and grounded. And then just having a good therapist.”
