Snap Faces Executive Shake-Up Ahead of AR Glasses Release
Snap Inc. is gearing up for the launch of the latest version of its augmented reality glasses, Specs, later this year. However, recent reports have revealed a shake-up within the company as one of its top executives tied to the project has departed following a rumored dispute with Snap CEO Evan Spiegel.
The departure of Scott Myers, who served as the Senior Vice President of Specs at Snap, was first reported by tech blog Sources. While the exact details of Myers’ exit remain undisclosed, a Snap spokesperson confirmed that he had chosen to step down from his role at the company.
