British striking sensation Charlie Guest is set to face a new challenger for his highly anticipated debut at ONE Fight Night 44: Jarvis vs. Rungrawee II, which will be broadcast on Prime Video.
Originally, the Andover native was supposed to face Bampara Kouyate. However, Kouyate, the standout from France-Mali, had to withdraw due to an injury sustained during his training camp.
Consequently, the ISKA Muay Thai champion will now compete against New Zealand’s Samuel Fitzgerald. These two promotional newcomers will clash in a featherweight Muay Thai bout at the renowned Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday.
Despite the last-minute change, the 30-year-old Brit remains focused on achieving world title glory on this major stage.

Throughout his career in the English and European Muay Thai circuits, Guest has impressed by knocking out 14 opponents. Known as a Muay Femur technician, he excels with his elbows, and his powerful punches have also been devastating.
The use of four-ounce gloves in Muay Thai will only enhance his strengths. Representing Impact MMA and Tiger Muay Thai, Guest is determined to make a memorable impression in his debut at ONE Fight Night 44.
A victory would significantly advance his quest to become a ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion.
Standing in his way is Fitzgerald, a WBC Muay Thai New Zealand super welterweight champion. Although he may lack experience in this intriguing stylistic matchup, the 21-year-old has surprised opponents who underestimated him.
Many of his career wins have been inside the distance. Fitzgerald enjoys studying his opponents and setting up knockout traps. As a Hitman Leegar affiliate, he can also assume the role of aggressor in pursuit of a highlight-reel finish.
