Charlotte Moore to Become CEO of Left Bank Pictures
Charlotte Moore, the current chief content officer of the BBC, is set to take on a new role as the CEO of London-based Left Bank Pictures, a company owned by Sony. This announcement comes as Andy Harries, the current CEO of Left Bank, transitions to an executive chair role after 18 years of leadership.
In addition to her role at Left Bank, Moore will also serve as the executive VP, creative director across Sony Pictures Television (SPT) International Production Group. This newly created position will see her leading the group’s creative strategy and working closely with key executives within the Sony Pictures family.
Moore expressed her excitement about the new opportunity, stating, “It’s an honor to be joining the brilliant team at Left Bank and to become CEO of one of the U.K.’s most successful production companies. I am thrilled to be returning to program making and look forward to working with Wayne Garvie and the Sony group in my role as executive VP, creative director.”

Before joining Left Bank Pictures, Moore served as the chief content officer at the BBC, where she was responsible for setting the creative vision and editorial strategy for BBC Content across all genres and platforms.
In addition to Left Bank Pictures, the SPT International Production group includes other scripted companies such as Bad Wolf, Eleven, Eleventh Hour Films, Curio Pictures, and Hot Sauce. With Moore’s leadership, the group is poised for continued success in the global entertainment industry.
