Beta Film, a leading distributor of premium Spanish drama series, has recently announced several key deals across Europe for its captivating lineup of shows.

German-French public service broadcaster ARTE and German public broadcaster SWR have both acquired two series by talented writer/director/actress Leticia Dolera. The drama series “Pubertat – Secrets, Lies, and Human Castles” and the comedy drama “Perfect Life” are set to air on ARTE and SWR, showcasing Dolera’s unique storytelling style and creative vision.

Additionally, ONE, the free-to-air channel of German public broadcaster ARD, has secured the rights to the popular Spanish series “Velvet” and its spin-off “The Velvet Collection.” Fans in Germany can look forward to enjoying these beloved shows on their screens soon. AXN White has also acquired the Spanish thriller series “Shades” for audiences in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, promising an engaging and suspenseful viewing experience.

Dolera’s “Pubertat – Secrets, Lies, and Human Castles” is set to premiere on ARTE early this year, followed by a later broadcast on SWR. The series, which won the prestigious Spanish Ondas Award for best fiction series, explores themes of lost love and family dynamics against the backdrop of the Catalan tradition of “human towers.”

“Perfect Life,” another project from Dolera, is a dramedy produced by Movistar Plus+ and Corte y Confección de Películas. The series follows the lives of three women in their 30s and 40s as they navigate unexpected turning points in their adult lives, offering a witty and insightful take on relationships and personal growth.

The crime thriller series “Shades,” praised for its cinematic quality, follows a group of troubled patients at a remote therapy retreat who become embroiled in a murder investigation. With a stellar cast including Elsa Pataky, Enrique Arce, and Maxi Iglesias, the show promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Produced by Secuoya Studios and Stellarmedia for SkyShowtime, “Shades” is a must-watch for fans of suspenseful and gripping storytelling.

“Velvet,” a long-running success set in 1950s Madrid, delves into the world of haute couture and romance at the Galerías Velvet fashion house. The series, produced by Bambú Producciones for Atresmedia Televisión, has captivated audiences with its captivating storyline and rich characters. Its spin-off, “The Velvet Collection,” produced by Movistar Plus+ and Bambú Producciones, continues the saga in 1960s New York, expanding on themes of ambition, passion, and the ever-changing world of fashion.

With a diverse and exciting lineup of Spanish drama series, Beta Film continues to deliver top-quality content to audiences across Europe, showcasing the talent and creativity of Spanish storytellers. Stay tuned for these upcoming series on your favorite channels and streaming platforms.
