Although Bill’s current health appears stable, his past few years have been marked by significant health issues.
In 2021, he faced a severe health challenge when a urinary tract infection escalated to sepsis, requiring nearly a week-long hospital stay before his release.
The following year, he was observed traveling with a device that seemed to be a portable defibrillator. Previously, in 2004, as reported by Radar, Bill underwent a quadruple bypass surgery, followed by a procedure six years later to insert stents in a blocked artery.
Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not personally treated Clinton, expressed concerns about the risk of a cardiac rhythm disturbance, particularly under stress.
“This is very serious because the arrhythmia can come out of nowhere,” he explained in a past interview. “Psychological stress has a very direct effect on the human heart.”
“If you miss ventricular fibrillation, the window of opportunity where you must hopefully treat it is very small – and the person can die immediately,” Fischer continued. “It can happen at any second.”
