S&P 500, Nasdaq Notch Records, Driven By Rally In AI and Risk

On Monday, Wall Street saw a surge in investments related to artificial intelligence, high-risk assets, and small-cap stocks, propelling the S&P 500 to its seventh consecutive day of gains.

The S&P 500 rose by 0.4%, while the Nasdaq Composite jumped 0.7%. Conversely, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 63 points, reflecting a decrease of 0.1%. The Russell 2000 index is also poised to celebrate its seventh straight day of increases, achieving its third closing high of the year.

Both the S&P and Nasdaq achieved record closing levels, with the S&P enjoying its longest winning streak since May.
