On Monday night, Bill O’Reilly remarked on President Donald Trump’s increasing sway in the Middle East, suggesting it might soon translate into newfound leverage over China.

He posited that this dynamic could compel Chinese President Xi Jinping to “align with a new world order featuring the U.S. at the helm.”

The former Fox News host shared these insights during an interview on NewsNation with Leland Vittert, following Trump’s recent diplomatic efforts culminating in a long-awaited cease-fire agreement in Gaza and high-profile discussions with leaders in Egypt.

“Trump’s global power has surged exponentially,” O’Reilly declared. “And now he’s heading to Korea to speak with Xi.”

O’Reilly emphasized that Trump’s standing among Arab nations has recalibrated the international balance of power.

“Xi and the Chinese recognize that Trump has gained Arab support and holds sway in the Middle East,” he explained to Vittert.

This development is MUCH more significant than anyone gives it credit for.

Peace in the Middle East was merely the first step.

O’Reilly pointed out the undeniable necessity China has for the Middle East, despite their current reliance on Russian and Iranian oil.

“China must not antagonize Arab nations,” he asserted.

He argued that Beijing’s economic struggles have heightened its leadership’s susceptibility to diplomatic influences.

“The Chinese economy is facing significant downturns—faster than New Yorkers can flee to Florida,” he quipped.

As O’Reilly viewed it, Trump’s upcoming initiatives could lead to historic outcomes.

“Trump’s heading into negotiations with a significant advantage, confront Xi with the reality that the world is increasingly rallying around the U.S.—from NATO and the EU to the Middle East,” he noted.

“It’s time for China to realign and partner with the United States for global peace and prosperity.”

O’Reilly suggested that Xi might even be contemplating a shift away from his alliance with Vladimir Putin.

“I suspect Xi is looking for a way out,” he said. “But a crucial part of the deal will be China stepping back from its support of Putin.”

“OPEC can fill the void left by Russian oil. China must halt its backing of Putin to help resolve the conflict in Ukraine.”

“That’s the pivotal negotiation we can anticipate, highlighting its significance,” he stated.

According to Reuters, Trump is poised for a meeting with Xi Jinping in South Korea later this month, amidst ongoing tensions surrounding trade and tariffs between China and the U.S.
