Blake Lively’s legal team is not backing down in the face of alleged inappropriate behavior from Justin Baldoni’s attorneys. In a recent letter submitted to the court and obtained by Us Weekly, Lively’s team expressed their concerns about the conduct of Baldoni’s legal representation during depositions.
The letter outlined instances of obstruction of testimony, speaking objections, insulting comments, audible cross-talk, and laughter during examination. Lively’s attorneys specifically called out questions about their client’s sex life as irrelevant to the case and threatened to seek guidance from the court and pursue all available remedies if such behavior continued.
The ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni stems from a lawsuit filed by Lively in December 2024, alleging sexual harassment by Baldoni during the production of “It Ends With Us.” The lawsuit also referenced a meeting to address claims of a hostile work environment on set.
In response to Lively’s lawsuit, Baldoni’s lawyer denied the accusations, calling them false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious. Baldoni later filed a lawsuit against Lively, which was dismissed in June of the following year.
Despite the legal back and forth, the case is tentatively scheduled for a trial in May 2026. A judge recently advised both parties to consider settling out of court.
