Delta Airlines Bomb Threat Forces Plane Evacuation at LaGuardia Airport in N.Y.

Passengers aboard a Delta Airlines flight were forced to evacuate Tuesday night after crew members reported a bomb threat just before takeoff. The Minneapolis-bound flight from LaGuardia Airport was scheduled to depart Terminal C around 8 PM when the alert was raised, according to Port Authority police.
The plane was quickly moved away from the gate and passengers were deboarded as a precaution. A passenger on the flight mentioned that the pilot assured everyone that there was no immediate danger, although an individual was escorted from their seat before the rest of the passengers were removed.
Emergency vehicles surrounded the aircraft as authorities conducted a thorough search. Fortunately, no threat was found, and the plane was cleared for takeoff around 10 PM.
This incident marked the second bomb threat at a major U.S. airport that day, following a similar scare at Reagan Washington National Airport in Virginia earlier in the morning. Thankfully, both situations ended without any actual threat being detected, and police gave the all-clear in both cases.
TMZ reached out to Delta Airlines for comment on the incident but has not received a response at the time of writing. The events unfolded during a tense day at the polls for several states and amidst the longest government shutdown in American history.
