In a recent exchange that could only be described as a political spectacle, Border Czar Tom Homan has responded to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s provocative remarks during a town hall meeting last week.
previously highlighted the event held by AOC in Jackson Heights, Queens, where she aimed to air her grievances against the Trump Administration. She seemingly anticipated a room full of enthusiastic supporters, ready to applaud her every word.
However, the meeting took an unexpected turn when an audience member, previously an admirer of AOC, interrupted her right at the beginning of her PowerPoint presentation focused on budget cuts from the Trump administration.
This interruption was only the beginning of AOC’s troubles. Later in the event, she threw down the gauntlet to Homan, taunting him with a challenge that he appeared more than willing to accept.
“Tom Homan said he would refer me to the DOJ for exercising my free speech to inform people of their constitutional rights. To that I say: Bring it on, do I look like I care?” declared Ocasio-Cortez to her captivated audience.
Homan, not one to shy away from a fight, responded with sharp wit during his appearance on The Ingraham Angle the following night.
“I take great satisfaction in knowing that I occupy her thoughts without charge every single day,” Homan remarked to host Laura Ingraham. “But let’s be clear: she is essentially educating those who wish to evade law enforcement.”

“The dynamics have shifted,” Homan continued. “She is now instructing individuals on how to potentially face legal repercussions. Ignoring a final removal order is a crime, and taking steps to evade ICE actions is equally unlawful.”
In a pointed conclusion, Homan encouraged AOC to delve into the intricacies of immigration law.
“You cannot obstruct your own removal as mandated by a federal judge. I would advise AOC to consult Title 8, United States Code 1253, because that knowledge is essential moving forward.”
As reported by Jim Hoft in February, Homan disclosed on Fox News’s “Ingraham Angle” that he had contacted the Deputy Attorney General to request an investigation into AOC. This came after she announced her intention to conduct webinars aimed at teaching undocumented immigrants how to avoid ICE in New York City.
“At what point does this become an obstruction?” Homan queried. “I’m not a legal expert, but is this undermining our law enforcement efforts?”
“If it is, what actions will we take? Is she crossing a line? I’m collaborating with the Department of Justice to determine where that line lies.”
