Just last week, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the leg outside South Shore High School in Canarsie. The victim, believed to be targeted by another teenager, was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Similarly, earlier this month, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg outside Ralph R. McKee Career and Technical Education High School in St. George. He was swiftly rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he is said to be recovering well.
