A tragic and heart-wrenching case unfolded in Florida when a young pregnant woman, Kaylin Fiengo, was brutally murdered by her boyfriend, Donovan Faison. The motive behind the heinous crime was Fiengo’s refusal to get an abortion, a decision that ultimately cost her life and that of her unborn child.

Fiengo, just 18 years old at the time of her death, was found shot to death in her car, with an ultrasound image by her side. It was a chilling scene that highlighted the brutality of Faison’s actions. The young woman, who was already a mother to a toddler named Ace, had informed Faison of her pregnancy through two positive test results. His response, a cold and callous “Abortion!!!”, set off a chain of events that led to her tragic demise.

Faison, described as a psychotic and two-timing individual, was living with another woman who suspected him of cheating. The pressure of the situation, coupled with his anger at Fiengo’s refusal to terminate the pregnancy, led him to commit a premeditated and calculated murder. He lured Fiengo to a meeting at Coastline Park in Sanford, where he carried out the execution-style killing.

The evidence against Faison was overwhelming, with a bullet casing and the ultrasound image found near Fiengo’s body. Prosecutor Stewart Stone emphasized the cold and calculated nature of the crime during the trial, urging jurors to consider the gravity of Faison’s actions. Ultimately, the jury voted 11-1 to recommend the death penalty for Faison, who was convicted of first-degree murder, killing an unborn child, and burglary.

The sentencing for Faison is scheduled for December 5th, where he could face the ultimate punishment for his heinous crimes. The case serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence and the importance of seeking help in abusive relationships. Kaylin Fiengo’s life was cut short in a senseless act of violence, leaving behind a grieving family and community. May justice be served for her and her unborn child.
