Seattle Kraken defenseman Brad Montour and his wife Ryiann are making the most of their offseason by enjoying a vacation in the United Kingdom. Ryiann recently took to Instagram to share glimpses of their British getaway, showcasing the couple’s adventures in London.
The Instagram stories featured picturesque scenes of London, including a classic white taxi driving down a Union Jack-lined street and a ceremonial parade near Buckingham Palace with guards in red uniforms. Ryiann also posed inside a red telephone booth, and the couple took a photo in front of the iconic London Eye with the River Thames in the background.
One particularly charming photo captured the interior of a stylish cafe looking out onto the ornate white facade of a building marked “One Dover Street.” Additionally, Ryiann shared a delectable dessert of soft-serve ice cream topped with caramel and nuts, along with a tray of pastries.
In a separate development, Brad Montour reflected on his debut season with the Seattle Kraken. The defenseman joined the team as a free agent last offseason and signed a seven-year deal. Despite the team not making the playoffs, Montour expressed his positive experience with the organization, highlighting the whirlwind nature of the season for him and his family.
Montour’s first year in Seattle saw him record 18 goals, 23 assists, and a plus-minus rating of -22 in 81 games for the Kraken. He emphasized the enjoyment of being part of the team and the camaraderie with his fellow players and staff.
