Boston Box Truck Incident Leaves Six Injured, Two Critically Hurt

In a startling incident that rattled the streets of Boston, a yellow Penske rental box truck veered onto a sidewalk and collided with a building, resulting in injuries to at least six individuals, with two reported in critical condition. The truck came to a halt after getting wedged between a street pole and the building it struck.

At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, the yellow rental truck careened near the intersection of Kneeland Street and Harrison Avenue, conveniently located close to Downtown Boston.

Firefighters were called to the scene, employing extrication tools to free the driver who became trapped within the cab of the truck.

Fox News reports:

Authorities from the homicide and fatal accident team are currently on the scene.

Police have labeled the situation as very active, and a full tally of victims has yet to be confirmed.

The incident unfolded shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the heart of Chinatown, specifically on Harrison Avenue near Kneeland Street. As investigations continue, it remains uncertain whether this was an unfortunate accident or a deliberate act.
