BREAKING: Greenland Space Force Commander Relieved of Command After Sending Email Undermining President Trump |

Colonel Susannah (Susan) Meyers, the commander of the Pituffik Space Base, was officially relieved of her duties on Thursday, following a report by Military.com. The dismissal came after she sent an email to base personnel in Greenland, which appeared to distance her from President Trump’s national security policy regarding the region, shortly after a visit from Vice President J.D. Vance. Colonel Meyers had taken command of the 821st Space Base Group last July.

For further insights, refer to the previous TGP report on Meyers found here.

The announcement of Meyers’ removal was made promptly by Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell, following the Military.com report.

Parnell stated, “Actions to undermine the chain of command or to subvert President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated at the Department of Defense.”

Space Force issued the following statement:

Pituffik Space Base, Greenland — Colonel Susannah Meyers has been removed from command by Colonel Kenneth Klock, commander of Space Base Delta 1, due to a loss of confidence in her leadership abilities.

Commanders are held to the highest standards of conduct, particularly regarding the necessity of maintaining nonpartisanship in their duties.

Colonel Shawn Lee has assumed command.

According to the Military.com report, Meyers had sent an email on March 31 to all personnel at the base that seemed intended to foster unity among the airmen, Guardians, and their Canadian, Danish, and Greenlandic counterparts following Vance’s visit. In her message, she reflected on the visit, stating, “I do not presume to understand current politics, but what I do know is the concerns of the U.S. administration discussed by Vice President Vance on Friday are not reflective of Pituffik Space Base.”

She concluded her email affirming her commitment to leadership, stating, “I commit that, for as long as I am lucky enough to lead this base, all of our flags will fly proudly — together.”

Department of Defense Chief of Staff Joe Kasper emphasized to Military.com that “civilian control of the military is a bedrock principle of our armed forces. Actions to undermine the chain of command or to subvert President Trump’s agenda will not be tolerated at the Defense Department.”

The swift removal of Meyers comes on the heels of another high-profile dismissal: Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield, who was recently relieved from her role as U.S. Military Representative to the NATO Military Committee in Brussels, allegedly for not displaying portraits of the current civilian leadership, including President Trump, Vice President Vance, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Congresswoman, I realize this may be a foreign concept to you but here at the DoD if you disrespect the chain of command & don’t do your job, you will be replaced.

Period. https://t.co/HrtUpI9Owc

Maybe you all don’t understand the military… it is not a democracy. Your superiors tell you what to think or do because you might have to go to war and not agree with it. For Meyers to be insubordinate, she must be a dope to go against the current doctrine.

I believe in you, and you have been treated very unprofessionally. I myself lived and worked in Greenland from 1977 to 1981 and have family in the country. I know that the Greenlandic people do not want the same presence as the president. Make the most of your life – it probably only starts now. Hugs 😘

She knows nothing about chain of command. She must have been high on something.

Bitch can get her own country and military and then she can be Colonel Woke. Until then, bust her to private and toss her in the brig.

She was fired through an intervention from Vance – who sweet-talked everybody at the base not long ago.
Just one more proof that he, too, has significant fascist traits. “Do not say anything that disagrees with me or my “gospel”.
    And the Pentagon sings along!
She just did what any good team leader does: Keep up the spirit and motivation of her subordinates – which was in order after Vance’s uneducated haranque at his visit, which the staff, especially the locals, could take personally. That mail did not violate legitimate military or foreign policy!
Vance is a poppycock but a dangerous one as long as he is allowed to rule. She would be a much greater Vice President than this braggard who does not do his homework before he speaks to international microphones.
