Brittany Cartwright gave her followers a health update after her recent cosmetic surgery.
On Sunday, October 12, she shared an insight into her recovery on her Instagram Stories, showing off her toned figure following Us Weekly‘s exclusive confirmation on October 6 that she underwent a tummy tuck and received new breast implants. The Valley star, 36, expressed that she hit an important recovery milestone.
“Even though Iâm still recovering from a significant surgery, I feel better each day. I had my tubes removed today, and it went even smoother than I had anticipated. There was minimal pain; I hardly felt anything,” she cheerfully stated. “I feel so liberated and so much better. Itâs incredible how relieved I felt after having the tubes taken out. I am still quite swollen but wow, Iâm feeling fantastic.”
Us received confirmation from Cartwright’s representative, Lori Krebs, last week regarding her procedure, describing it as a âmommy makeoverâ meant to herald an âempowering new chapter of self-confidence, healing, and growth.â
Cartwrightâs Instagram Story update featured a mirror selfie taken in her home, which highlighted her stunning recovery in figure-fitted activewear that showcased her slim waist.
Krebs went on to clarify to Us that this surgery was a personal goal for Cartwright, who had desired to make these changes for a long time before finally committing to the decision. The procedures were carried out by the skilled duo of Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke from the Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group.
The insider also mentioned that Cartwright replaced her old breast implants with new ones.
Brittany first mentioned her surgery on October 6 with a cryptic Instagram post. She captioned, “When they said ‘let go of what no longer serves you,’ I took it literally đ. To keep it real with you all, I did something I’ve wanted for years, and I couldn’t be happier,” posting a picture of herself in compression bandages with surgical drains attached. The post went on to say, “Iâm still healing but feeling stronger (and lighter) with each passing day. I look forward to sharing more soon!”
Krebs disclosed to Us that Cartwright would discuss “more about her surgery experience and progress” on her podcast, âWhen Reality Hits With Brittany Cartwright.â
Numerous friends in the industry expressed their support for Cartwright following the announcement of her surgery. In the comments section of her post, Kristen Doute praised her, saying, “My beautiful girl! Letting go of that unnecessary baggage and embracing the upgrade!!”, while Scheana Shay remarked, “I see a sparkle in you.”
This latest procedure comes on the heels of Cartwright’s first breast augmentation surgery, which was featured in season 4 of Vanderpump Rules, where she revealed that her then-husband, Jax Taylor, financed the previous surgeries.
Now divorced, Cartwright shares a son, Cruz, aged 4, with Taylor, 46. She filed for divorce in August 2024.
