Brittany Snow recently opened up about her disappointment over a deleted scene from her character, Sophie O’Neil, in the Netflix drama “Hunting Wives.” In an episode of the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Snow revealed that a crucial scene showing Sophie having a panic attack and breakdown was cut from the final edit. This scene provided important context for Sophie’s behavior throughout the show, explaining her coping mechanisms and emotional responses to challenges.

Despite her initial disappointment, Snow understood the necessity of editing for the overall flow of the series. She expressed her gratitude for being part of the show and praised the storytelling and character development. Snow also shared that the show’s creator, Rebecca Cutter, reassured her that the cut scene would make more sense in season 2.

In addition to discussing the deleted scene, Snow also talked about filming intimate scenes with her co-star Malin Akerman. She appreciated Akerman’s professionalism and the supportive environment they created on set. Snow emphasized the importance of portraying women over 40 as sexual beings on screen, challenging the stigma that exists in Hollywood.

Based on May Cobb’s novel, “The Hunting Wives” follows Sophie’s journey after relocating to a small town in Texas and forming connections with a group of wealthy socialites. The show delves into themes of friendship, secrets, and the complexities of relationships. Despite the unexpected changes in network and content, Snow expressed her enthusiasm for being part of a show that pushes boundaries and challenges stereotypes.

Fans can stream “The Hunting Wives” on Netflix and look forward to the upcoming season, which promises to delve deeper into Sophie’s character and her past struggles. Snow’s candid revelations about her experience on the show offer a glimpse into the dedication and passion she brings to her roles, making her a standout talent in the industry.
