Carlos Santana, the legendary musician, faced a medical emergency just before his scheduled concert in Texas. The incident occurred at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, where Santana was doing a sound check before the show.
According to reports, Santana suffered a medical emergency that is suspected to be dehydration. He was attended to by medical personnel and was transported to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Fortunately, his condition is reported to be non-life-threatening, and he is currently under observation in Texas.
A representative for Santana confirmed that the concert at the Majestic Theatre has been postponed due to the medical emergency. However, the show may be rescheduled soon, depending on how Santana responds to treatment. The rep also mentioned that Santana is in good spirits and is looking forward to returning to San Antonio for the rescheduled show as well as continuing his US Tour.
This is not the first time Santana has faced a health scare during a performance. In July 2022, he collapsed onstage due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. On that occasion, Santana had to be taken to the hospital in the middle of his show. Thankfully, the current situation does not seem to be as severe.
Despite the setback, Santana has shows scheduled for Friday and Saturday as part of his Oneness Tour 2025. Fans are eagerly waiting for updates on his condition and the status of the upcoming concerts.
