Hocevar, who made his Cup Series debut in 2023 with Spire Motorsports and Legacy Motor Club, shared his thoughts on the upcoming Chicago Street Course race.
Reflecting on his experience on road courses, Hocevar was asked about the possibility of NASCAR racing at the Chicago Street Course next year. In response, Hocevar expressed his appreciation for the race, noting the benefits for Zeig Auto Group, which has dealerships in the area. He also mentioned his desire to see Chicago land back on the schedule, believing it would attract a stronger field of competitors. Despite this, he emphasized the uniqueness and excitement of street races and suggested that one such event should remain on the calendar.

In the 2025 Cup Series season, Hocevar faced a rocky start with a P33 qualifying position at the Daytona 500 and a P30 finish. However, he showed promise with a runner-up spot at Atlanta Motor Speedway before slipping to P13 at the Circuit of the Americas. Despite some ups and downs, Hocevar managed to secure a top-10 finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway and qualified in the top five for the upcoming Chicago Street Course race.
