A new season of “Big Brother” is set to premiere on July 10th with a 90-minute episode, followed by another 90-minute episode on July 13th. The theme for this season is “Big Brother: A Summer of Mystery,” promising unexpected twists and turns for the contestants.
In addition to the regular episodes, CBS has announced a new segment called “Big Brother: Unlocked,” where three former players will return every other Friday to analyze the gameplay. The host, Julie Chen Moonves, will also be returning for Season 27.
The new house, Hotel Mystére, has been revealed with various themed rooms including a reception area, living room with chess guardians, attic bedroom filled with oddities, sleeper car bunk room, rooftop garden kitchen, secretive wine cellar, Victorian conservatory lounge and bar, and boxing ring gym.
This season marks a 25-year milestone for “Big Brother,” which first aired in 2000. Fans can expect extended 90-minute episodes on Wednesdays and exclusive behind-the-scenes access with the debut of “Big Brother: Unlocked” every other Friday night starting July 25th. Additionally, viewers can watch the 24/7 live feeds on Paramount+ and PlutoTV starting July 13th.
