Celeste Rivas, a 15-year-old girl, was tragically discovered deceased in the trunk of a Tesla owned by singer D4vd. Law enforcement sources reveal she had a history of running away, attributed to challenges she faced at home.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division is currently investigating Celeste’s background, attempting to reconstruct the complicated narrative of her young life.
Records indicate that her family from Lake Elsinore reached out to Riverside County law enforcement on at least two occasions to report Celeste as missing.
Detectives believe that substantial evidence suggests Celeste hails from a “troubled home.” This turmoil may have contributed to her repeated attempts to flee.
Interviews with a local liquor store owner reveal an instance on March 19, 2024, when Celeste’s sister visited to review surveillance footage, trying to trace Celeste’s whereabouts following one of her departures.

As previously reported, Celeste’s middle school teacher informed us that she had previously run away in January 2024. Police located her a month later in the Hollywood Hills. Notably, D4vd resides in that area. Celeste was last seen again in April 2024.
It remains uncertain whether law enforcement was notified in Hollywood when Celeste went missing in spring 2024, especially considering her family might have sought information regarding her stay when she was discovered in February.
Sources suggest Celeste managed to navigate various situations with “multiple fake IDs,” ostensibly aiming to appear older than her actual age.
Before authorities confirmed Celeste’s identity, a tip led to her being recognized as the deceased found in D4vd’s Tesla. While communicating with her mother, details emerged about a distinctive red tattoo on Celeste’s right index finger. Her mother also mentioned that Celeste was seeing a person named David. This information was relayed to LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division, aiding in the identification process.

Authorities are inclined to believe that Celeste may have met her end within the home where D4vd resided, prompting them to secure a search warrant to investigate for blood evidence at the location. The findings from that search, however, remain undisclosed.
Currently, the police have yet to disclose whether they have identified any suspects in this case.
