A woman in Chicago was recorded allegedly vandalizing a Trump-themed Cybertruck by smearing it with dog feces.
John Evans, who came from Savannah, Ga., reported that he parked his Tesla in the Northalsted area of the city on Wednesday while attending a conference.
Upon his return, he discovered that his truck, wrapped in an American flag and adorned with Donald Trump’s signature in gold leaf on the tailgate, had been defaced.
“It’s unbelievable that someone could get so upset over this that they felt the need to ruin someone else’s day,” Evans told FOX 32. “Now, the tables have turned.”
The Cybertruck’s cameras captured video of a woman methodically applying the mess on the vehicle, according to Evans.
“The tailgate features a gold-leaf rendition of President Trump’s signature, which I believe may have provoked an extreme reaction from this individual,” he stated.
Evans shared images from the footage on X, where users purportedly identified the woman as Dorothy Owen, a co-founder of Renegade Dog Services, a local dog daycare. His post garnered over 75,000 likes and 20,000 shares.
Shortly after, the daycare’s Instagram account seemed to mock the bizarre incident.
“Let’s be real, that could belong to anyone with awful tattoos and sagging attributes,” the caption bluntly stated. “Also, #f–kmontana #f–ktrump #f–kice.”
Authorities have not verified the woman’s identity, and Owen has yet to face charges.
Consequently, negative reviews have appeared online for the daycare, according to a report by the Daily Mail reported.
“I believe Americans are ready to hold others accountable for bad behavior,” Evans added in his remarks to the outlet.
Evans has chosen not to file a police report, feeling that the social media backlash is sufficient and that law enforcement has more pressing matters to attend to.
“As Americans, we have a duty to do better,” Evans remarked. “Acts like this only exacerbate the issue.”
Attempts to reach Evans for further comment were unsuccessful. Owen has not yet responded to The Post’s request for her side of the story.
