“Christmas in Nashville” is set to be a star-studded country music holiday special airing on NBC, with three-time Grammy winner Trisha Yearwood as the host. The two-hour telecast, scheduled for Dec. 3 at 10 p.m., will showcase performances of beloved holiday classics by Bill Murray & His Blood Brothers, Lauren Alaina, Ne-Yo, the War and Treaty, and Trace Adkins. Viewers who miss the initial broadcast can catch the show on Peacock the following day.

Filmed at Nashville’s Category 10 venue in front of a live audience, “Christmas in Nashville” is executive produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment. This festive special follows NBC’s annual “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” program, which airs earlier in the evening on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. ET. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the Rockefeller Center special will feature performances by Marc Anthony, Halle Bailey, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth, Laufey, New Edition, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, the Radio City Rockettes, and Gwen Stefani. The event will also include a tree lighting ceremony with “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Al Roker.

In addition to these holiday specials, NBC has a lineup of festive programming that includes the annual “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” “Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular,” and holiday-themed episodes of “Saturday Night Live.” “A Motown Christmas,” airing on Dec. 9 at 9 p.m., will be hosted by Smokey Robinson and Halle Bailey and will feature performances by Motown legends and contemporary music stars.

Throughout the month of December, NBC will continue to spread holiday cheer with screenings of classic films like “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on Dec. 4, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on Dec. 5, “Shrek the Halls” on Dec. 9, and “It’s a Wonderful Life” on Christmas Eve. With a lineup of festive specials and timeless favorites, NBC is sure to keep viewers entertained and in the holiday spirit all month long.
