Clash of Clans faced a maintenance break on December 19, 2024, lasting over an hour to address various bugs, including incorrect obstacle sounds. However, upon the completion of the maintenance break, players encountered new bugs affecting the trophy count system in multiplayer attacks. In response to this, Supercell promptly released an emergency maintenance break to rectify the issues.

The rapid succession of events within a single day has left many players confused about the current situation and whether the bugs have been resolved. This article aims to provide clarity on the ongoing developments.

The initial maintenance break commenced on December 19, 2024, at 8:30 am (UTC+0) with the intention of fixing several bugs. These included issues such as the snowfall effect not activating after applying snow to obstacles, incorrect sounds when interacting with obstacles, the Builder Apprentice’s task on Heroes not functioning after extended offline periods, and the Lab Assistant malfunctioning upon logging into the game. Supercell communicated these bug fixes on the game’s social media platforms and assured players of a swift resolution.

After 40 minutes, the game servers were back online, and Supercell encouraged players to install an optional 16.654.16 update to address the identified bugs. However, following the installation of this update, players encountered new bugs affecting the trophy count mechanic during multiplayer raids. Consequently, Supercell announced an emergency maintenance break to tackle these unforeseen issues, which has been ongoing for over two hours.

In their latest update, Supercell mentioned that their team is actively working to assess the impact of the trophy count bug and devise solutions to address the affected accounts.
