Former FBI Director James Comey recently posted a picture on Instagram showing seashells arranged to read “86 47.” This seemingly innocent post sparked controversy and speculation about the hidden meaning behind these numbers. Some individuals, like Joseph Jordan from Butner, NC, expressed their disdain for Comey due to his past actions, such as his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation and leaking notes to the media.

Others, like Paul Jablonski from Cape Coral, Fla., called for Comey to be held accountable for his post, suggesting that he should be in jail. The numbers “86” are often used as a slang term meaning to get rid of or eliminate something, while “47” can be interpreted as instructions to bury a victim. This led to concerns and fear, especially among those close to President Trump, who saw it as a potential threat.

Deirdre Burgman from Manhattan highlighted the confusion and anxiety caused by Comey’s post, emphasizing the need for more thorough reporting to understand the true intentions behind it. Some even called for immediate action, with Mike Santavicca from Yonkers urging Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate and eliminate any potential threat against President Trump.

In a separate incident, members of the gang Diablos de la 42 were allegedly involved in an attack on a 16-year-old autistic boy. This raised questions about the consequences for such actions, with some, like Susan Green from Manhattan, advocating for deportation of the perpetrators and their families. Carol Meltzer, also from Manhattan, criticized the lack of attention from Democrats towards the victim and suggested harsher punishment for the gang members.

Thomas Urban from Wantagh condemned the leniency in laws that protect criminal offenders and called for drastic changes to address the issue of gang violence. He criticized the lawmakers responsible for enacting these laws and advocated for their removal from office.

Overall, these incidents have ignited debates about free speech, law enforcement, and immigration policies. The public’s reactions reflect a mix of anger, fear, and calls for justice. As the controversies unfold, it remains to be seen how authorities will respond to these challenges.
