Sometimes Winning Starts with Effort

When your team keeps coming home from away games with lopsided losses, it’s easy to lose sight of the big picture. The Colorado men’s basketball team faced a string of defeats on the road before taking BYU to overtime in a close loss last week.

Despite the setbacks, head coach Tad Boyle remains confident in his team’s incremental improvement. He emphasized the importance of effort and competitiveness in a tough league like the Big 12.

With five games left in the regular season, the Buffs have a chance to climb in the standings. While matchups against top-ranked teams like Houston and Arizona loom ahead, Boyle sees winnable games on the horizon.

The upcoming game against Oklahoma State promises to be a high-scoring affair. Both teams are looking to put points on the board, making for an exciting matchup.

Notes: This is Oklahoma State’s first visit to CU since 2011. The Cowboys lead the all-time series but have lost four consecutive games. CU looks to capitalize on home-court advantage with strong performances from Rancik and Dak.

As the regular season winds down, the Buffs aim to finish strong and position themselves for success in the conference tournament.
