CU took control of the game in the first half, going on a 12-0 run to secure a 38-25 lead at halftime.
With a 13-9 overall record and a 3-6 record in the Big 12, Colorado showcased its best defensive performance in the conference, holding TCU to just 61 points and a .333 shooting percentage.
Five Buffs players scored in double figures, including forward Sebastian Rancik, who came off the bench for the first time this season and contributed 17 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
