“Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 wrapped up on Nov. 25 with a thrilling finale that saw Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, and Elaine Hendrix vying for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy. While the broadcast captured the intense competition, there were some behind-the-scenes moments that didn’t make it to air.

Inside the ballroom, emotions were running high as all previously eliminated contestants returned to cheer on the finalists. However, not everyone in the audience was in a supportive mood. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba faced multiple rounds of booing throughout the night, despite her efforts to provide constructive criticism. From pointing out a small flaw in Dylan’s performance to expressing her hesitation in awarding the trophy to undeserving contestants, Carrie Ann faced backlash from the audience.

Jordan closed out the first round with a powerful paso doble, but even his performance didn’t escape Carrie Ann’s critical eye. She mentioned that his attack was too strong and that the routine didn’t quite come together, leading to more disapproval from the audience.

The tension reached a peak when an audience member shouted words of praise for Jordan, prompting Carrie Ann to inquire about the comment. Alfonso Ribeiro stepped in to support the judge, emphasizing the challenges women face in expressing themselves and commending Carrie Ann for her courage and honesty.

During a commercial break, the show’s crowd director reminded the audience to maintain respect and decorum, despite their enthusiasm for the performances. Despite the occasional moments of tension, the night was mostly filled with joy and camaraderie among the contestants and crew.

In a heartwarming gesture, Danielle Fishel surprised Dylan’s sister, Olivia, with a stuffed unicorn after her daughter took Olivia’s toy the previous week. The cast, troupe members, and crew gathered behind the cameras in anticipation of the winner’s announcement, ready to celebrate with the champions.

After Robert and Witney were crowned winners, the ballroom erupted in excitement as Xochitl Gomez ran out to hug the champions alongside their families. Alfonso and Witney shared a touching moment, commemorating the 11-year anniversary of their first win together with heartfelt expressions of love.

The finale of “Dancing With the Stars” Season 34 was a memorable night filled with both exhilarating performances and heartwarming moments, showcasing the talent and camaraderie of the contestants and crew.
