Federal agents recently conducted a raid on an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, where they discovered a dangerous narcotics cocktail known as “pink cocaine.” The raid, which involved around 300 agents from the DEA, other federal agencies, and the local sheriff’s office, also led to the arrest of over 100 illegal aliens.

DEA Rocky Mountain Field Division Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen revealed that the raid uncovered not only pink cocaine but also a variety of weapons and other drugs. Pink cocaine, also known as Tusi, is a lethal mix of ketamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, and caffeine, sometimes laced with deadly fentanyl. This counterfeit drug does not contain actual cocaine but poses a serious threat to public health.

The Venezuelan migrant gang Tren de Aragua has been linked to trafficking pink cocaine in the US, including in migrant shelters in New York City. The drug is considered an emerging threat across the country, with experts warning of its unpredictable nature and potential deadly consequences.

The underground nightclub, which operated only on weekends from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., was described by authorities as a “den of iniquity.” Undercover operatives had been monitoring the club, witnessing drug trafficking and prostitution taking place. The club’s operators had held pop-up events in multiple locations across Colorado Springs, leading to numerous 911 calls reporting crime and overdoses.

Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade expressed support for the DEA raids in his city, emphasizing the importance of public safety. As the first immigrant mayor of Colorado Springs, Mobolade stressed the role of government in ensuring a safe community. He commended the efforts of law enforcement in targeting dangerous criminals and maintaining the security of the city.

The bust at the underground nightclub underscores the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and criminal activity in Colorado Springs. With pink cocaine posing a serious threat to public health, authorities are vigilant in their efforts to dismantle criminal operations and ensure the safety of the community.
