She emphasized the importance of advocating for oneself and seeking out medical professionals who listen and take concerns seriously. In sharing her journey, Harvey hopes to raise awareness about these often misunderstood and underdiagnosed conditions, encouraging other women to trust their instincts and push for proper care. PCOS and endometriosis affect millions of women worldwide, causing a range of symptoms from irregular periods and pelvic pain to infertility and mental health issues. By speaking out about her own experiences, Harvey is helping to destigmatize these conditions and spark conversations about women’s health.

5. Angel Reese Addresses Hate Train In New Ad For Reebok Sneaker
Baltimore basketball star Angel Reese is taking a bold stand against online hate in a powerful new ad for Reebok sneakers. The 20-year-old athlete, known for breaking records and shattering stereotypes, confronts her critics head-on in the emotional commercial, which features footage of Reese training and playing alongside the hateful comments she receives on social media. “You’re too big,” “You’re too aggressive,” “You’re too much,” the voices taunt, as Reese defiantly laces up her Reebok shoes and hits the court with determination. The ad ends with a simple message: “Hate won’t stop me. I Am More.”

Reese, who recently signed a multi-million dollar endorsement deal with Reebok, has been a vocal advocate for body positivity and self-love, using her platform to inspire young athletes and challenge harmful beauty standards. In a statement, she expressed her commitment to fighting back against negativity and embracing her strength and resilience. The ad has already garnered praise for its empowering message and for spotlighting the impact of cyberbullying on athletes, particularly women of color. Reese’s partnership with Reebok marks a new chapter in her career, as she continues to break barriers and redefine what it means to be a champion both on and off the court. Black women are disproportionately affected by two common but often underdiagnosed health conditions: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. Studies have shown that Black women face racial bias in healthcare, leading to these conditions being overlooked and making it harder for them to receive timely care. PCOS can cause a range of symptoms including acne, infertility, weight gain, and increased cardiovascular risks, with Black women being more likely to be affected. Similarly, endometriosis, a painful condition that impacts one in ten women, is often dismissed in Black patients.

Public figures such as Angel Reese, Tiffany Haddish, Victoria MonĂ©t, and Keke Palmer have been open about their struggles with these conditions, raising awareness about the importance of advocating for one’s health. Angel Reese, a WNBA All-Star and Chicago Sky forward, recently launched her first signature shoe, the Angel Reese 1, in partnership with Reebok. In a bold new campaign titled Fuel, Reese addresses the negativity and doubt she has faced, positioning herself as the driver of the “hate train” rather than a passenger. The campaign celebrates resilience and inner strength, highlighting how Reese draws energy from her supporters and uses negativity as motivation to excel on the court.

Off the court, Reese continues to make an impact through her entrepreneurship and philanthropy efforts, including her Angel C. Reese Foundation, which recently distributed 2,000 backpacks to Chicago students. The Fuel campaign and Reese’s overall message serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of perseverance and self-belief in the face of adversity. By sharing her journey and experiences, Reese is inspiring others to push through challenges and achieve their goals.
