Jose Perez put up a strong performance for the Nuggets, recording a double-double with 26 points and 10 rebounds, while Don Carey jun found his rhythm after a slow start, finishing with 23 points.
Todd Withers stood out on defence for the Nuggets with 18 points and 8 rebounds, but he lacked support from his teammates. Perez and Carey tried to keep their team in the game, but the Whai’s sharpshooting from beyond the arc proved to be too much to handle.
