Adam “Pacman” Jones has disclosed the primary condition for Deion Sanders to consider a move to the NFL – avoiding coaching against his son, or else he’s not interested.
TMZ Sports caught up with the former NFL star outside Paramount on Wednesday and inquired about the possibility of Coach Prime entering the coaching landscape of the NFL.
Pacman Jones expressed that while it wouldn’t be surprising to see Deion back in the NFL, it would only make sense if he coached the Cleveland Browns alongside his son, Shedeur, despite multiple head coach vacancies this season.
“He’s not going to go and coach against Shedeur, that’s first and foremost,” mentioned the ‘Politely Raw!’ podcast host, emphasizing Prime’s commitment to his son and his coaching aspirations at Colorado.
With the Cleveland Browns currently seeking a new head coach following Shedeur’s impressive rookie season, the idea of Deion and Shedeur leading the team together seems like a plausible next step.
“I’m not saying it can’t happen, but if it was to happen, it would be somewhere where Shedeur is playing at,” Jones stated.
If circumstances align, Pacman envisioned a unique scenario – Deion coaching his son at Jackson State, Colorado, and eventually in the NFL.
“That would be 1-of-1,” Pacman remarked. “It’s crazy.”
One could call it legendary.
While Deion Sanders coaching in the NFL is not out of the question, it would prioritize family and legacy above all else.
