That was just so quintessentially “Yellowstone” to me. It was chaos and mayhem, but it was also so entertaining to watch. I think that’s one of the things that sets this show apart – the unexpected twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

As for Colby’s death, I think it was a fitting end for his character. He went out a hero, saving a young boy from harm. It was a noble sacrifice, and it showed the depth of his character and his loyalty to his friends. Denim Richards did a fantastic job portraying Colby, and his presence will be missed in the bunkhouse.

Overall, “Yellowstone” continues to deliver thrilling and emotional moments that keep fans coming back for more. The show has a knack for surprising its audience with unexpected deaths and plot twists, and it keeps us all hooked on the edge of our seats. Colby may be gone, but his memory will live on in the hearts of fans who loved his character and the energy he brought to the show. The recent episode of Yellowstone left fans in shock with the unexpected death of Colby Mayfield. Actor Denim Richards, who played the character, reflects on the simplicity and reality of Colby’s death in the cowboy world. He mentions how the emotional weight of the episode made it difficult for him to watch, but the overwhelming response from fans showed the impact it had.

Denim admits that he didn’t have a watch party for the episode and chose not to watch it at all, as he had been emotionally preparing for the moment since May. He describes it as a stress test and a reminder of the challenges that come with a long career in acting. Despite the emotional toll, he appreciates the way show creator Taylor Sheridan handled Colby’s exit.

When asked about incorporating cowboy gear into his wardrobe, Denim reveals that his personal style leans more towards African attire. However, he does occasionally wear cowboy boots and has kept all the gear he wore on the show as keepsakes in his office. He jokes about how people often expect him to be in full cowboy attire in real life.

Looking ahead, Denim’s next project is his feature debut as a writer and director titled “The Forgotten Ones.” He shares that it is a historical period piece that he is excited to discuss further once details about distribution are finalized. Despite the somber note of Colby’s death on Yellowstone, Denim is optimistic about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead.

As Denim continues to navigate his acting career and explore new creative endeavors, fans can expect to see him bring his unique perspective and talent to future projects. The interview with Denim Richards gives a glimpse into the actor’s mindset and his journey in the entertainment industry, showcasing his professionalism and dedication to his craft.
