Denver Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver Who Struck Pedestrian

Denver officers are on the lookout for a driver who struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene earlier this month, as reported by the Denver Police Department.

The hit-and-run incident occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, June 13, near the intersection of North Federal Boulevard and West 6th Avenue. This location lies at the border of four Denver neighborhoods: Barnum, Valverde, Villa Park, and Lincoln Park.

Authorities disclosed that the pedestrian, who remains unnamed, sustained serious injuries in the collision.

The driver, whose identity is yet to be determined, was driving a white Mercedes-Benz with license plate CLA250 in a southbound direction on Federal at the time of the accident. Instead of stopping or providing any information, the driver fled the scene immediately.

Police believe that the vehicle involved may have noticeable damage to its front bumper.

Individuals with any details about the crash, the driver, or the vehicle are urged to reach out to Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or submit a tip via the website metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.

Tipsters have the option to remain anonymous and could potentially qualify for a reward of up to $2,000.
