Diddy Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Transportation for Prostitution Charges
Sean “Diddy” Combs, the music mogul and founder of Bad Boy Records, has been sentenced to four years and two months in a minimum security federal prison for his involvement in transporting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and another woman known as “Jane Doe,” for prostitution.
Combs was found guilty of coercing Ventura and Jane Doe to participate in drug and sex-fueled “freak-offs” with male prostitutes. While he was acquitted on more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, the transportation for prostitution charges still carried significant consequences.
Prosecutors had initially sought an 11-year sentence for Combs, but the judge ultimately handed down a shorter term along with a $500,000 fine. Combs was given credit for time served since his September 2024 arrest, leading to an expected release date of May 8, 2028.
However, reports indicate that Combs’ release date has been pushed back to June 4, 2028, due to a possible violation of prison rules. Speculation suggests that the violation may be related to the discovery of homemade alcohol in Combs’ possession, although the Bureau of Prisons has not officially confirmed the reason for the extended stay.
