Diddy Trial Highlights From 15th Day of Testimony

Diddy‘s guardian angel made an appearance at his federal trial, adding a twist to the proceedings. Instead of having charges dropped, the guardian angel’s testimony may have aided the prosecution’s case.

During Day 15 of the trial, Eddy Garcia, a former security supervisor at InterContinental in Century City, Los Angeles, testified about a payout he and his colleagues received to suppress the infamous Cassie beating tape.

Eddy Garcia, who worked at the hotel in 2016, was approached by Kristina Khorram, Diddy’s right-hand woman, on the same day the incident was recorded. She sought to acquire the tape from him.

After initial reluctance, Garcia eventually struck a deal with Diddy to purchase the recording for $50K. Diddy referred to Garcia as his “angel” during the transaction.

Garcia ensured Diddy received the only version of the tape in existence and was paid $100K for it, distributing the funds as agreed.

Despite Garcia’s belief that he had given Diddy the sole copy of the tape, the government obtained the video as well, raising questions about how they acquired it.

A woman was ejected from the courtroom during the proceedings, leaving Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, with much to ponder.
