Prosecutors are nearing the end of their case in Diddy’s criminal trial. On the 24th day of witness testimony, they finally presented jurors with footage from the alleged freak-off incidents involving Diddy and Cassie.
Amidst some jury drama, one juror was dismissed and another was under scrutiny for discussing the case. Prosecutors revealed snippets of sexual encounters between Diddy, Cassie, and a male escort.
The jury had previously seen still images, but the actual video footage was reserved for a later stage of the trial, presumably for maximum impact.
Jurors were also presented with text messages between Diddy and Cassie, including discussions about arranging a freak-off as a belated Christmas celebration in early January 2013.
The day began with the dismissal of Juror No. 6 due to a “lack of candor” regarding his residency. Another juror, who received a text referencing Juror No. 6, raised concerns about discussing the case outside the courtroom.
Another juror is under scrutiny for potential breaches of confidentiality by engaging in discussions about the case with others.
With witnesses running thin, the defense will soon have the opportunity to present their case in court.
