In case you missed it … Diddy was sentenced to four years in prison due to prostitution-related charges — and during his plea for immediate release, he insisted he had changed.

Dr. Drew shared with TMZ that he is convinced Diddy genuinely believes in his transformation — he has absorbed some tough lessons — but he faces a significant challenge if he wants that change to last.

According to Dr. Drew, Diddy is evidently a sex addict … and he will need extensive treatment for years after being released … otherwise, he risks falling back into his old habits.

Dr. Drew emphasized that Diddy’s lifestyle must change fundamentally upon his release … or else mere forced sobriety won’t suffice. Thus, the partying and indulgence must come to an end.

On a positive note, Dr. Drew suggested that Diddy might find a hidden benefit in being deprived of sex and alleged drug use. If he is earnest about transforming his life … spending some years in isolation could help him establish a solid foundation for sobriety.
