Disgraced former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore is facing serious allegations of domestic violence against his mistress, Paige Shiver. The scandal unfolded when Shiver reported their secret two-year affair to the school, resulting in Moore’s termination.
According to court transcripts, Shiver’s lawyer, Heidi Sharp, called 911 on behalf of her client, claiming that Moore had a “long history of domestic violence” against Shiver and was considered dangerous. The details of the previous domestic violence incidents were not provided in the court records.
Moore, a married father of three, had an affair with Shiver for several years before she decided to end the relationship. Following the breakup, Moore allegedly bombarded Shiver with calls and texts, leading her to disclose the affair to the school and ultimately resulting in Moore’s dismissal for engaging in an “inappropriate relationship” with a staff member.
After losing his job, Moore allegedly broke into Shiver’s home, brandishing butter knives and kitchen scissors, and threatening to harm himself. He reportedly screamed at Shiver, saying, “I’m going to kill myself. I’m going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You’ve ruined my life.”
In the aftermath of the incident, Moore was charged with three crimes, including felony home invasion and stalking. Shiver’s lawyer revealed that the victim had returned home briefly to collect her belongings before planning to leave town.
The scandal involving Sherrone Moore has rocked the University of Michigan community and raised serious concerns about domestic violence and the behavior of those in positions of power. The legal proceedings surrounding Moore’s alleged actions are ongoing, and the full extent of the consequences he will face remains to be seen.
