Donald Trump recently revealed that he was almost put to sleep by the list of names presented to him for the military action in Iran. The 79-year-old president proudly proclaimed the name Operation Epic Fury and how he chose it from a list of 20 other unimpressive options.
During a rally in Kentucky on March 11, Trump excitedly declared, “As we take decisive action to stop the threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran with Operation Epic Fury, is that a great name?” The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, showing their support for the chosen name.
Trump explained how he was given a list of names to choose from in the early hours of February 28, just before the coordinated airstrikes on Iran by the U.S. and Israel. He admitted, “They gave me, like, 20 names, and I’m like, falling asleep. I didn’t like any of them.” However, when he came across the name ‘Epic Fury,’ he knew instantly that it was the perfect fit for the operation.
While Trump may have appeared to doze off during cabinet meetings and signings, his doctor, Ronny Jackson, confirmed that the president only sleeps for four to five hours a night and has always been someone who doesn’t require much sleep. To keep himself energized throughout the day, Trump reportedly consumes up to 12 cans of Diet Coke, his beverage of choice.
Despite his busy schedule and lack of sleep, Trump remains dedicated to his work and continues to push forward with his agenda. His choice of the name Operation Epic Fury showcases his bold and assertive approach to handling military actions and national security issues.
