Donald Trump‘s connection with the late Jeffrey Epstein has come into focus recently due to the Epstein files. A video has surfaced, revealing a captivating moment where the two men were seen watching a boxing match at the Trump Taj Mahal nearly 3 decades ago.
The footage doesn’t show anything suspicious, but it’s intriguing to see Trump and Epstein seated near each other ringside while George Foreman and Shannon Briggs battled it out at the casino-hotel in November 1997.
During the heavyweight championship fight, Trump was engaged in conversation with those around him, including Epstein. At one point, Epstein seemed to be amused by something the future 47th president said.
In another scene, Trump and Epstein can be seen engrossed in conversation, with onlookers turning their heads to listen. However, there is nothing untoward evident in their interaction.
The video confirms what has been speculated for a while – Trump and Epstein were acquainted and had a friendly rapport. Sources reveal that Trump’s name appears multiple times in the Epstein files, but there is no indication of any wrongdoing on Trump’s part.
Records show Trump featuring in flight logs, journeying on Epstein’s plane from New York City to Florida, where both men had properties. Trump continues to own Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Notably, Trump’s interactions with Epstein occurred prior to Epstein’s 2006 indictment for soliciting an underage victim for prostitution in Florida. Epstein’s subsequent demise in a federal prison in Manhattan is well-documented.
The Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files has drawn criticism, with questions raised about transparency. Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino have faced backlash for the lack of clarity in releasing the files, upsetting Trump’s supporters.
The unfolding events underscore the complexities surrounding Trump’s past associations and the repercussions of the Epstein saga on his administration.
