Donald Trump is being recognized as a significant figure and peacemaker in Israel following the return of 20 hostages from Gaza.
He addressed the Israeli parliament shortly after unveiling his peace proposal aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in Gaza, receiving a warm standing ovation.
Trump asserted boldly, “This marks not just the end of a conflict. It heralds the end of terror and bloodshed, ushering in an era of faith, hope, and divine purpose.”

As part of the agreement, Israel is anticipated to grant the release of 250 Palestinian prisoners, along with 1,700 detainees held since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended Trump in his address, deeming him the “greatest ally” Israel has known and reaffirming his dedication to peace.

During his speech, Trump faced interruptions from two protestors holding signs saying “Recognize Palestine,” who were promptly removed. After their exit, he quipped, “That was quite efficient,” eliciting laughter from the audience.
