He hinted at the possibility of selling more weapons to allies to send to Ukraine, including Patriot missile systems. Zelenskyy has requested ten Patriot systems and corresponding missiles from the US, with agreements already in place with Germany and Norway for the purchase of three systems.

Additionally, Trump has expressed support for Senator Lindsey Graham’s bill to impose fresh sanctions on Russia, giving the president the discretion to enforce punitive measures as needed.
