After the concert, various clips surfaced on social media showing Jungkook’s mother among the audience. In these videos, concertgoers are seen approaching her to greet her and present small gifts.
Some fans reported that she reciprocated by handing out candies and taking photos with those who approached her. The clips quickly gained popularity online, with many fans describing the interactions as heartwarming and noting resemblances between her mannerisms and those of Jungkook.
Several social media users praised her friendly demeanor, highlighting her smile and the way she engaged with those nearby. Others described her as kind and approachable based on the shared videos.
Nevertheless, fans’ opinions on these interactions soon diverged. While some fans appreciated the interactions, others debated whether family members of idols should be approached or filmed at public events, raising concerns about privacy and personal boundaries.
Some fans argued that Jungkook’s mother was attending the concert as a guest and should have the freedom to enjoy the event without attracting attention. There were also expressions of discomfort regarding the widespread sharing of her videos online, emphasizing that she is not a public figure despite her connection to the BTS member. Several fans also criticized the unauthorized filming and posting of her interactions, urging for the removal of the clips.
BTS wraps up Busan concerts with special FESTA performances and fan gifts
BTS completed their two-day Busan concert on June 13 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, coinciding with their celebration of the group’s 13th debut anniversary and FESTA 2026. The concerts featured a mix of BTS’ popular hits, fan-favorite tracks, and special performances curated for ARMY.
Attendees received FESTA gift packages containing photocards, beauty products, a towel, an umbrella, a pouch, and a handwritten message card from the members. The group members later revealed that each had personally selected one item for the package and covered the cost themselves.
The first day of the concert faced operational challenges, including entry delays and crowd congestion around gift distribution areas, which resulted in many attendees not reaching their seats on time. Consequently, the show started nearly an hour later than planned. Both HYBE and BTS acknowledged the issues and apologized to fans for the delay and the circumstances surrounding the event.
Despite the delay, the group delivered a 23-song set on Day 1. A major highlight was the first live performance of the unreleased Korean version of NORMAL. In the surprise song segment, the group performed older tracks like Paldogangsan and Ma City, and offered One More Night as a special FESTA gift for fans.
On Day 2, BTS presented a 24-song setlist. The surprise song section featured Dimple and DDAENG, two tracks from their earlier discography. Besides including One More Night in the special songs for FESTA 2026 segment, the group also performed Magic Shop on the second night.
With the Busan concerts concluded, BTS is set to continue the ARIRANG World Tour in Europe, with the next stop in Madrid, Spain, where the group is scheduled to perform on June 26 and 27.
