Dwight Howard Signs With Innovative Artists Entertainment

NBA Hall of Famer Dwight Howard has officially joined forces with Innovative Artists Entertainment for his representation needs.

Despite this new partnership, Howard will continue to work with The Gym Agency. His manager and business partner, Mujaahid Abdul-Baasit, plays an active role in various projects with Howard, including their Out of the Box production and media venture.

A standout in professional basketball, Howard has been selected as an NBA All-Star eight times and has made the All NBA Team also eight times. He’s a five-time member of the All Defensive Team and has earned the title of defensive player of the year three times. His journey began in 2004 when he was the first overall pick in the NBA Draft, chosen by the Orlando Magic.

Over his career, he spent eight seasons with the Magic and later played with notable franchises such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, and Philadelphia 76ers.

In addition to his NBA legacy, Howard was part of the gold medal-winning U.S. men’s basketball team during the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, sharing the court with legends like Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade.

Beyond the basketball court, Howard has made guest appearances in popular television series such as “Black-ish” on ABC, “Never Have I Ever” on Netflix, and “The Odd Couple” on CBS. He has also had roles in films including “The Equalizer 2,” featuring Denzel Washington, and “Just Wright,” alongside Queen Latifah and Common. His television presence extends to reality shows where he competed on the thirty-third season of “Dancing With The Stars” and the sixth season of “The Masked Singer.” He also secured third place on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” Presently, Howard hosts his own podcast titled “Above The Rim with DH 12.”
