Capital One has recently announced an exciting offer for new cardholders of their Capital One Savor Student Cash Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Quicksilver Student Cash Rewards Credit Card. New cardholders can now earn a $100 bonus, doubling the previous $50 bonus offer. To qualify for the bonus, new cardholders must spend $300 within the first three months of opening their account.

In addition to the $100 bonus, new Savor Student Cash Rewards Credit Card members will receive an unlimited 3% cash back on purchases at eligible grocery stores, restaurants, and select streaming services. They can also earn 8% cash back on live music, theater, and sporting events when purchasing tickets through Capital One Entertainment. On the other hand, Quicksilver Student Cash Rewards cardholders can earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase and 5% cash back on tickets bought through Capital One Entertainment. Both cards earn 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

These student credit cards have no annual fee and are designed to help students build their credit while maximizing rewards. The benefits of being a Capital One Student cardmember extend beyond the limited-time offer. Cardholders enjoy perks such as $0 fraud liability, 24-hour travel assistance services, account alerts from Eno, card lock feature, Capital One Shopping, extended warranty protection, and the ability to redeem rewards with PayPal.

For students who enjoy dining out and attending entertainment events, the Savor Student credit card may be the better choice with its elevated cash back rewards in those categories. On the other hand, students who prioritize everyday purchases may find the Quicksilver Student card more beneficial due to its daily cash back on all purchases.
