Elon Musk Plans SpaceX IPO in June

According to a report from the Financial Times, Elon Musk is eyeing sometime in June for SpaceX’s blockbuster IPO. The billionaire is aiming to launch the IPO around his birthday on June 28th and the rare alignment of Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter in early June.

SpaceX’s IPO is expected to be one of the largest in history, with plans to raise at least $50 billion at a $1.5 trillion valuation. However, these figures are subject to change as the offering progresses.

The funding from the IPO will be crucial for SpaceX as it continues to develop its Starship rocket with the goal of eventually reaching Mars. The company, which is one of the nation’s most valuable private companies, last held a secondary sale in December with an $800 billion valuation.
