Elon Musk responded to Governor Gavin Newsom’s office after they mentioned that his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, “hates” him.
“We’re sorry your daughter hates you, Elon,” Newsom’s Press Office commented on a clip posted by Musk’s America PAC showcasing Newsom’s pride in passing pro-trans laws.
The Tesla CEO fired back at Newsom, expressing his love for his son.
“I assume you’re referring to my son, Xavier, who has a tragic mental illness caused by the evil woke mind virus you push on vulnerable children,” Musk responded on X.
“I love Xavier very much and hope he recovers,” he added.
“My daughters are Azure, Exa (she goes by Y) and Arcadia, and they do indeed love me very much,” he reassured.
Wilson, formerly known as Xavier, filed a petition in California to change her gender and name in 2022.
The aspiring model also dropped her surname Musk and disassociated herself from her father, stating she no longer wants to be related to him in any way.
Musk has previously mentioned that Wilson was “killed by the woke mind virus” and that he was deceived into allowing her transition at 16.
Wilson, who had planned to leave the US after Trump’s election, has publicly criticized Musk on social media, calling him “cartoonishly evil” and a “pathetic man-child” who refuses to accept her gender.
She has transitioned into a media personality and model, appearing on the cover of Teen Vogue, and claims to be financially struggling after cutting ties with her father, the wealthiest man in the world.
